By tomorrow, rains will be seen along the foothills as well right from Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhepura, Supaul, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj. These regions may see heavy rains.
A fresh cyclonic circulation is likely to emerge over the coastal parts of Odisha and neighboring Bay of Bengal on around 04thSep. This will drag the eastern end of the monsoon trough, south of its normal position. The easterly stream over the state during those days will ease the weather conditions, at least for few days.
More rains are on the cards as the Monsoon Trough is shifting upward now, making conditions favourable for widespread rain over Bihar tomorrow and day after i.e. July 30 to August 1. During this time, light to moderate showers with isolated heavy spells may be seen over many parts of the state of Bihar.
Now, during the next three days, Bihar will see more rains and heavy showers will remain confined to the northern parts as compared to the southern parts. However, the entire state will see good Monsoon showers.
Spread of rains on June 29 will be quite large and the possibility of lightning strikes cannot be ruled out and alert needs to be sounded for the residents on both June 28 and 29. Around June 30, rains will not cease but intensity may reduce.
