The Vikings and the Timberwolves might be old crosstown rivals, but they're also old friends sharing one community.
Coeur d'Alene and Lake City high school students met in the LCHS commons after school Friday to gather the blankets, clothing, toiletries and other items they collected during their 2024 All for Awl campaign to deliver them to nonprofits throughout the community.

Jules Cosby is the community outreach and education specialist for the Salvation Army Kroc Center. She said Christmas for All has had a significant impact on her work.
“As I work with individuals and families and seek to support them as they hopefully are working to better their circumstances, CFA feels like a beacon of hope,” Cosby said.
Single mom “Rosa” is, in a word, resourceful.
She was just 20 years old when she had her son. Struggling to get by with no family support, her situation felt hopeless. But Rosa is determined to create a bright future.
Even though money is tight, "Juno" is pleased to announce she and her four girls have a roof over their heads after being homeless for five months.
"We got blessed with an apartment, just before school started," Juno said Friday.
