The Manitoba government is investing $31.6 million to expand the Selkirk Regional Health Centre, positioning the facility to play an increased role in the provincial surgery program while continuing to serve the emergency and urgent care needs of patients in the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority (IERHA).
A new building will be constructed as part of a significant expansion at Boundary Trails Health Centre that will add new acute care inpatient beds and provide larger, more modern space for patient care programs to support the health needs of these growing communities well into the future.
Additional acute care in-patient beds and expanded medical capacity, including a new renal dialysis unit, are part of a significant expansion and renovation that will reflect Bethesda Regional Health Centre s importance as a district hub in Manitoba s health-care system and provide care that is closer to home for many residents in southern Manitoba.
