Mastercard has partnered with Invest India to launch an enhanced programme in India aimed at redefining experiential travel. The programme, supported by the tourism ministry, is an extension of Mastercards global platform and offers curated experiences for Mastercard cardholders. Consumer spending on travel experiences has increased by 65% compared to March 2019, driven by pent-up demand.
