Fall River Charge Nurse Finding Balance in Life During Pandemic
Shannon O’Hara is currently a charge nurse in the Emergency Department at Saint Anne’s Hospital in Fall River. She is one of the SouthCoast s frontline heroes.
Her fiancé, Brendan Riley, wanted to recognize her in the Spotlight SouthCoast Frontline Heroes program because she has balanced a graduate program on top of working through a pandemic, taking care of patients when they were most vulnerable.
“At the beginning of the pandemic, we were both in graduate school,” Riley said. “While I got pulled from rotations for a period of time, Shannon’s work and school life only got more complicated.”
