IPO fundraising all-time high at Rs 1.18 lakh crore; almost double since 2017

Sixty three Indian corporates raised an all-time high Rs 1.18 lakh crore through main board IPOs in calendar 2021.

The primary market was on a roll this year. More than 50 companies entered the stock markets to raise a whooping amount of more than Rs 1 lakh crore.

The STT collection as on December 16 stood at Rs 17,329 crore as compared to the budget target of Rs 12,500 crore.
