Dr Lauren Dixon, from the Bridgegate Medical Centre in Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, has been visiting care homes in her area to administer the Covid vaccine to elderly residents. It is part of the huge government drive to vaccinate the entire population. Currently over four million people have received the lifesaving vaccine.
