Sony Interactive Entertainment announced on the evening of Jan. 4, 2022 that PlayStation VR2 would be the name of its next, PS5-compatible virtual reality headset. PlayStation VR2 will incorporate eye-tracking technology, a new PlayStation VR2 Sense controller, and will feature Horizon Call of the Mountain, by Guerrilla Games and Firesprite, at launch.
