Bengaluru-based Ather Energy has announced a major price cut on its entry-level model, the 450S, to expand its customer base. The EV maker has reduced the price of the 450S by Rs 20,000, making it available at a starting price of Rs 1.09 lakh in Bengaluru and Rs 97,500 in Delhi. The price for the 450S with the Pro Pack has also been reduced by Rs 25,000. Ather Energy is now the sole competitor with the lowest starting price among electric two-wheelers in the market.

Ather Energy said the new pricing was aimed at making its products appeal to a wider set of buyers.
