information and every time something comes into the bucket, it s adding to your analytic picture. it s adding to your knowledge of what s going on. and you get a better idea of honing in on possible alternatives. and you re also excluding possible alternatives, as you add more information into the problem set. the transportation administer of malaysia says all of the objects spotted earlier in some of those other satellite images, french, thai, chinese, australian, they could still be parts of the plane, because ocean currents have pushed them in various directions. do you buy that? well, i m telling you, until you ve got a piece that you ve seen and you ve got it up on a ship and in somebody s hands, in the hands of an aviation expert who knows that aircraft, how do you rule anything out, wolf? well, apparently, the australians don t believe the earlier 122 images spotted, i think in the french satellite, the 300 spotted in a chinese
complicated problem set in syria. should he wait until after the second vote in parliament next week, should he wait until after the u.n. weapons inspector s report back in. i don t believe so. the president got himself in a bit of a box when he drew a red line on chemical weapons. we know of very near ten different episodes where chemical weapons have already been used in syria. the rest of the world knows that. this has been the most public certainly of the chemical weapons usage. and so now you have a credibility issue underlying with the undunited states. the opposition is questioning. vu russians are feeling they can be more brazen. iranians with thumping their chest. and that s what happens when the u.s. is perceived to be weak and can t make a decision. i think it s important that we make a decision here. you get the buy-in, and then we ll take appropriate action at the appropriate time. isn t there a risk for the
robust discussion to get against not only members of congress and the representatives of the country involved, but also to be by and by the american people. this is a serious step in a very complicated problem set in syria. meanwhile, across the pond, british prime minister david cameron faced similar problems. the well many public opinion was well and truly poisoned by the iraq episode, and we need to understand the public skepticism. and in another sign of slowing momentum, britain delayed a vote on military action until next week. let s get to ayman mohyeldin, and this drive we felt was inecrachellely going really appears to be slowing down. how is that being perceived in the region? it has been somewhat echoed by the for example, if you
