Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, criticized conflict profiteers in the region, accusing them of enriching themselves while neglecting the welfare of the poor. Sinha stated that these profiteers had their shops closed permanently on August 5, 2019. He also expressed his commitment to leaving a lasting legacy of peace, prosperity, and development in J&K. Sinha inaugurated and laid the foundation for various development projects worth Rs 41 crore in Budgam.
