Gina, can you hear us . Here, you guys can just look at her indiscernible . This is shawn with sfgovtv. You can upmute her in the attendees list. I did that. So i want to have daniel finish your comment. Sure. So the question was if there are operatable windows and the answer is that there are. You know, typically in, you know, in each bedroom would have a couple fixed windows and then maybe one portion of it that is a window that you can open to get some fresh air. But the the key is that all of the units are mechanically ventilated with ducted and, you know, lugerred systems. So if there is a resident that is annoyed about the noise from the nightclub because you have the windows open, they can close the windows and their space would still be adequately ventilated. So the fresh air is not contingent upon the windows being open. President bleiman so ive got a question then. In your paperwork do you make a notation that windows, you know, not to complain, but the windows are open becau
Well look at the weekend coming up. And Governor Newsom has ordered parking lots at the beaches to close to deter the crowds. And ansar hassan is live with more on this. Reporter and starting about ten miles were a away, there where signs warning that the beaches where clo are closed st. The governor didnt say they had to close, but some cities decided to close. And Half Moon Bay says that it is a difficult decision but they are closing in an evident to keep people safe from covid19. It is the same situation in pick came. And we traditionally allow fireworks in our parking lots and beaches and this year would he not. And so it just makes sense to close the beaches. Backyard Half Moon Bay Pillar Point Harbor is closed through midnight on sunday. There will be no trail access parking, no beach parking, and also access to johnson pier will be restricted to residents. And alameda crown beach will be open in Holiday Weekend and some are getting an early start. We thought that we use still g
Colleagues, a concern about the cost; the same concern about supervisor waltons and haneys measures. You look at new york, and how its saved so much more than its spent, but of course thats after its been up and running. And i so want this measure to get on the ballot because it is so the right thing to do at the right time, but im wondering if youd considered starting it a little later, similar to what supervisor haney had done for the d. P. W. So it doesnt cost money right away for the city budget where were not facing an unprecedented deficit. I just want to assuage some of my colleagues concerns so that it will get on the ballot. At least thats my hope. Supervisor mar just like all my colleagues, i share a concern over our huge budget deficit unprecedented budget deficit, as well as the important other proposed measures that we heard today. Again, i you know, the actual cost, based on the Controllers Office fiscal analyst is very modest [inaudible] supervisor mar so i think that gi
Im the first to say that we have a problem that we have some services for those people who have the most severe, most complicated needs, that they dont want you know, as many people as we put on the streets say thats not how people want to engage, and thats what i hope we get to moving forward on in these main areas around that Mental Health s. F. Legislation. Supervisor mandelman but i would just point out and i think i have a couple more questions, and ill feed to the other members of the committee. You know, the meth Sobering Center was i mean, what is it many different people on the Meth Task Force had many different ideas what the Sobering Center would be and what services it would have, from a place to get out the streets to more of an altern e alternative to p. E. S. From what ive heard on the streets, there was a real need to reduce pressure on p. E. S. And how a Sobering Center does that i can see stories how it does a little bit on the margins, but unless it has more, unless
