Today the senate has an opportunity to honor these three and so many others that we have lost who never stopped fighting for 9 11 First Responders and the country they loved by voting yes on this critical legislation. Ive shared with many of my colleagues, i never had the privilege of going to new york city before september 11th, 2001, but i will never forget my first visit after september 11, 2001.
