MANILA, Mar. 10 Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez highlighted the important role of women entrepreneurs especially as the country pushes for post-COVID economic recovery during the 3A Program Batch 2 Handog Kabuhayan: Alay Kay Juana launch on 08 March 2021.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, DTI paid tribute to women-led micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) during the virtual graduation program of the 3A Program, which stands for “Accept, Adapt, Act.”
“Today, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, we want to highlight the extraordinary roles of women-led MSMEs, or Micro, Small, and Medium Entrepreneurs o MSMEs. With the help of our MSMEs, our country can be more hopeful for a post-COVID future that will be poised for a Better Normal,” Sec. Lopez said.
Fintech incubator and accelerator F10 announced the ten startups that have been selected for the second batch of its Acceleration Program (previously known as Scaleup Program) in Zurich.
Almost 200 companies with market traction from various countries had applied to become part of the 3-month program. The startups accepted into the Accelerator Program will have the opportunity to collaborate with F10 Corporate Partners in Switzerland and connect with the international F10 ecosystem.
Furthermore, they will also get access to the F10 Investor Network and learn to improve sales, scaling as well as fundraising skills.
The program consists of three monthly 3-day bootcamps, the first one will start on 22 February, online due to continued lockdown restrictions in Switzerland. The cohort will conclude with a public Pitch Party on 5 May.
