The low clouds have filled in. We have widespread gray along the coast, inside the bay, parts of the south bay, north bay, far inland, east bay waking up with sunshine once again. 56 degrees in antioch. 57, San Francisco. A little cool in your neighborhood but not too bad. Mid 50s at half moon bay. Low 60s Mountain View as well as san jose. Going to be a great day for a ball game. 77 degrees at game time, then warming to about 80 degrees for the second half of the afternoon. Lets take a look at some of these regions. 79 for vallejo. New this morning, a wanted parolee who kept Roseville Police in a standoff for nearly 10 hours has surrendered. He was taken away by an ambulance with minor injuries. It started yesterday at about 3 00 in the afternoon. Roseville police say they were with a federal immigration special agent on their way to arrest him. As they approached the house, he opened fire. President , earlier this morning it was suggested that republicans are creating a problem on the portmanshaheen bill because were insisting on amendments. Im stunned that anybody would think insisting on amendments would be unusual or out of order. Thats what we used to do in the senate. We had amendments offered and we had votes on them by both sides. One senator, it was suggested, insisted on an obamacare amendment. That was dropped five days ago. Nobodys insisting on an obamacare amendment on the portmanshaheen bill. Senator vitter suggested that earlier but decided that was not a good idea on this particular bill because it was the opportunity we hoped to get four or five votes on important energyrelated amendments. And senator durbin actually objected. So i think i
