Barclays today announced that the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has authorised Barclays Bank PLC to operate as a foreign authorised deposit-taking institution (ADI) in Australia. Barclays Bank PLC Australia Branch is targeted to go-live as a foreign bank branch locally in April 2022.

Too much onus on this algorithmic and program trading. the only real side i saw is when the the dow went down 1,600 flirted by high frequency trading. the rest of the times the moves that some volatile and radical are people selling stock actively, taking profits and guys trying to pick bottoms. technical trading. i dont see this. there are algorithms that run, people try to catch up. time algorithms, volume algorithms and whatnot. the way the market is trading like this with huge swoops up and ...
