That were shooting out of the top of the brick building. Reporter the flames shot more than 50 feet into the air. Thick plumes of smoke could be seen from the east bay. I saw thick billowing smoke right there. Reporter a firefighter had to be hospitalized for smoke inhalation. So did two neighbors. The fivealarm fire damaged two buildings but it was the wholesale store called big house, incorporated, that got the brunt of it. The shop was crowded with clothes and Leather Goods and other assorted...
