Brittany Zazueta was only a year older than Collin Wiant when the Ohio University pledge died after inhaling a whippet inside his fraternity s off-campus annex house in 2018. But Zazueta didn t remember hearing much about Wiant s death from the leaders of her sorority at Wright State University. It was something we were aware of and something that people were talking about, but any introspection didn t last long, said Zazueta, now a 21-year-old senior studying marketing and entrepreneurship. But when news about the death of Bowling Green State University sophomore Stone Foltz spread across Ohio s college campuses in early March, the discussion changed.
