Bismarck State College on Wednesday laid the final steel beam for a $47 million Polytechnic Education Center and announced a free tuition program for eligible incoming students.

POTTSVILLE â Schuylkill County Prison Warden David J. Wapinsky said Tuesday that the crane at the jail is helping to keep the facility operating through the coldest months.
âThe big crane is lifting the new heating units onto the roof and lifting the old ones off the roof,â Wapinsky said as snow continues to cover the ground.
McClure Co., Harrisburg, is working on the project, and is using the 250-ton crane to position the heaters.
âItâs a big crane,â said Project Manager Mike Keninitz.
Kenenitz said his company is no stranger to such massive projects.
âWeâve done probably five or six projects like this in the area over the years,â he said.
