Nintendo Direct E3 2021 date, time, and Treehouse Live livestream announced

Nintendo will hold a new Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 2021 on June 15, where the company plans to reveal new details on upcoming Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo will then offer a longer look at its Switch lineup in a new Nintendo Treehouse Live immediately following the Direct livestream.

If that s the case, then conceivably Nintendo could announce the Switch Pro before E3, which runs from June 12 to June 15, and instead talk about software during its E3 event. Still, announcing a new piece of hardware and not mentioning it at a 40-minute press conference would be odd. So we feel it s safe to suspect that a Switch Pro announcement will not be happening anytime soon. 

Square Enix s Bravely team is developing Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake

Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Special live stream last night, which included the Bravely team. Back in 2019, Square Enix shook up its internal development divisions, previously known as the “Business Divisions,” to make the new Creative Business Units. Creative Business Unit II, which includes the team working on Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, was essentially made from a merger between previous Square Enix Business Divisions 6, 7, and 11. The more established Business Division 6, led by Yu Miyake, was the Dragon Quest games’ primary division. Business Division 7 mostly made mobile and arcade games. Business Division 11 was more recently established for the Octopath Traveler team, led by
