PRODA Chairman demands resignation of Gbajabiamila, disbandment of probe panel

The Chairman of Projects Development Institute, PRODA, Comrade Daniel Onjeh, has called on the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila to resign and also cause the disbandment of a House panel looking into allegations that he(Onjeh), is holding on to offices under false pretenses.
Mr Onjeh at a press conference in Abuja Sunday claimed that the Speaker wrongfully demanded his approval of PRODA projects, that were yet to meet due process requirements.
He also called for the immediate dissolution of a House committee set up to look into alleged fraudulent acts at the institute.
APC: Foreign Affairs Minister, Onyeama, ex-gov Chime revalidate membership

Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, on Friday, revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The minister, who carried out the exercise at his Eke ward, in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu, urged the residents to embrace the party.
The APC remains the most credible platform to bring the desired development to the country.
“It is also the vehicle that would lead the country to its desired destination,” he said.
He said with the level of acceptance of the party in the area, a huge surge in its popularity was expected in the State.

Dan Onjeh, the Board Chairman of Project Development Institute, PRODA, on Friday, demanded a public apology from the Federal House of Representatives.
Onjeh’s demand was contained in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
He also urged the House of Representatives to retract the deliberate falsehood and misinformation that he had been suspended as PRODA Chairman on the directive of Muhammadu Buhari.
According to him, President Buhari has not found him wanting or unfit to continue to hold the Office of PRODA Chairman, because there is absolutely no allegation against him before him.
