These very tight, very tense waters. they are quick with .50 caliber machine guns but consider this. these are not big warships. they have a limited ability to defend themselves and if the iranians come alongside and essentially say youre coming with us, the prospect, very dismal, of seeing u.s. navy sailors potentially -- im saying potentially -- with the surrendering weapons with hands up is a very dismal prospect. but this has happened in the past. it happened to the british navy, several yea...

For isis terrorists. two human rights groups in syria are reporting that a 20-year-old isis fighter killed his own mother in public because she had urged him to leave the group and flee with her from the isis capital of raqqah. cnn has not been able to independently confirm those reports. no doubt, troubling coming from those groups. lets talk about this and much more with cnn counterterrorism analyst phil mudd. phil, obviously its horrific and a new low, if true, for isis. but what is the propa...

Digital trail, his cell phone, and talked to every contact, friends and family. over time, especially with the networks isis has to get people out of europe into turkey and into syria, that he would have left. i think hell have a choice. if he decides to become part of the propaganda machine for isis, do propaganda videos, celebrating what he did in france, then hell crop up on the radar of people like the americans, british, french. his life span in my judgment will be rel lively short. difficu...

So the threat whether were talking about individuals that are self-radicalized or week talking about individuals that have been trained abroad, its much less the threat here. that doesnt mean it doesnt exist. i think what were looking at here is the likelihood or the possibility that there are copycats out there, there are crazy vijds that might take it upon themselves to echo this attack in some way, shape, or form. i think if this was to happen, hopefully no one is that stupid and foolish, but...
