Kota Kinabalu: A 48-year-old man was fined a total of RM2,500 for having for sale unregistered products and having products containing poison without a licence.
Lee Teck Loong pleaded guilty before Sessions Court Judge Noor Hafizah Mohd Salim to two charges against her, Monday.
On the first count, Lee was fined RM1,000 or 14 days’ jail for having for sale two types of unregistered products at 4pm on Nov 7, 2017 at the Kedai Ubat Ria, Telipok, near here.

The offence under Regulation 7 (1)(a) of the Control of Drugs and Cosmetic Regulations 1984 carries a jail term of up to three years, or a fine of up to RM50,000 or both, upon conviction.
