Have been the president of the league of women voters for three years. Ive been sitting on the board for eight years. When i started my work with the league excuse me basically working hand in hand with the ballot simplification sitting member, whereby i developed the pro and con guide for the league and helped distribute that english, spanish, and chinese. Ive never been to a Hearing Committee meeting because of the nature of my relationship with the pro and con guide meant that i met regularly with adele for briefing. I guess speaking to the residency waiver that im asking for, i used to be a San Francisco resident. I lived in district three, i lived in district two, and as we discussed at great length this afternoon, i had to leave the city. I couldnt afford to live here anymore. I couldnt afford to raise a family here, and yet my dedication to San Francisco continues now with sitting on the board and now acting as the president of the league of women voters, and thank you.
