SUDURPASCHIM, May 6: A report about the April 27 by-election of the Province Assembly (PA) in Bajhang 1(a) has been presented to Sudurpaschim Province Chief, Najir Miya.
The Election Commission has directed the government and the Home Ministry to make arrangement of movement of candidates and voters only after coordinating with respective District Administration Office while participating in election related programmes for the National Assembly election scheduled for January 25.
KATHMANDU, Dec 21: The Election Commission (EC) has designated polling stations and polling centers for the National Assembly member elections scheduled for January 25. There will be one polling center in each province for the elections, with two polling stations at each polling center. According to the EC, a total of 7 polling centers and 14 polling stations have been designated across the country.
KATHMANDU, Aug 5: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an interim order asking the Election Commission (EC) to not implement its decision to fine election candidates who as it said failed to present the election expenditures details to it.
