A lot of people talk about who they are and whats going on. We have to understand who we are. If we understand who we are, we understand who they are. Because its not us versus them. I spent a year in jail, ms. Richards is a great strong leader and i appreciate her. The reason why im here today is because Restorative Justice for me has been the answer. We believe in respect, care, trust and empathy. Im here to say change is possible. Former gang member, sold drugs, dealt drugs, used drugs. Family membered o. D. Ed but change is possible and it comes through care and concern. Its not about whether we are going to be consistent, its about who is speaking that language. Its not what i say, its how i say it. Ive seen the pictures of the young men and women that were arrested and put on the tenderloin website and most of them were friends. All i saw was trauma, victimization. So whats really needed for us is just for us all to come together as we have here and all these people here are stak
Lieu of the project sponsor constructing a new wholesale flower market. Should the flower market vendors and management exercise this option, the project variant would then contain about 2 million square feet of office, 91,000 square feet of retail, 23,000 square foot childcare facility and 950 square foot Community Facility and lower amounts of parking, loading but increased bicycle Parking Spaces and an increased approximately 38,000 square feet of Public Open Space. So how would they repurpose the ground floor that was once thought of as a flower market site . Some of that ground floor would be converted to atgrade loading with the flower mart, much of the loading is in the underground garage, so instead they bring some of those uses up to street level, reduce the amount of excavation and belowgrade space. And then the 23,000 square foot childcare facility would be

Were a small Grassroots Group who organize Community Building gatherings in the National Memorial grove five times a year, which i assume arent familiar with, except, perhaps, for phil. So as these events started 23 years ago at the height of the aids epidemic, when a small group of friends gathered in the newly established grove to celebrate still being alive in the face of a very uncertain future. As well as to remember those already lost to the plague, these folks got together to do this by dancing together with vibrant silk flags such as these and i just wanted to show you these. They look like this, made of silk, and hand tie tiedyed. For smrkwe believe those who wee lost trafficking so young would want to be remembered for their vibrant lives. Our events are always free and typically wellattended by regulars, for whom we feel we provide an uplifting experience in these times of growing isolation in our s

And also i would like to mention kim diamond too. I know all five of these individuals. They all do really good work in the neighborhood. And i think the committee would be well served. They understand processes, they know how to work in the group. They live and work in the neighborhood and real life experience. Let me read this one more time.
