Demonstrators hurled bottles as officers attempted to disperse the crowds in Hyde Park on Saturday ( April 24) evening. Photographs posted on social media show a female police officer bleeding from a cut to her head, while another suffered a similar wound on his forehead. Earlier that day, people also took to Oxford Street to protest against vaccine passports, face masks and lockdown. Officers then approached a crowd of over 100 people who were playing music and gathered closely together in Hyde Park in breach of coronavirus restrictions.
UK Police Seek 9 People After 14 Officers Injured When Enforcing COVID-19 Rules
The Metropolitan Police in London is asking the public for help in identifying nine people they would like to speak to after 14 officers were assaulted last weekend.
On April 24, officers approached a crowd of over 100 people in London’s Hyde Park, who were playing music and gathered closely together in breach of the UK government’s CCP (Chinese Communist Party) viruslockdown regulations.
