ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) - A lifelong Granite Falls resident who served as a U.S. Marine was fatally Saturday while waiting for a dialysis appointment in north Snohomish County, his family said.
The shooter was at large on Wednesday and Arlington detectives were searching for a dark 2013 or 2014 Range Rover Sport, The Daily Herald in Everett reported.
Ivan Maik, 78, stopped at a Marysville bank to withdraw cash before dawn Saturday. Police said security cameras showed a Range Rover followed him until he parked near the front of the Puget Sound Kidney Centers.

ARLINGTON A lifelong Granite Falls resident who served as a U.S. Marine was fatally shot Saturday while waiting for a dialysis appointment in north Snohomish County, his family said.
The shooter was at large on Wednesday and Arlington detectives were searching for a dark 2013 or 2014 Range Rover Sport, The Daily Herald in Everett reported.

Arlington Police are investigating an April 10 shooting that claimed a male victim in the parking lot of the Puget Sound Kidney Center. Â
Officers found the victim, who had been shot in the head, when they responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Saturday in the 18800 block of Smokey Point Blvd.Â
The police departmentâs Investigation Unit and investigators from the Washington State Patrol Crime Laboratory have responded.Â
Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
