Qinghua Zhang and Steven Craig Heiland, former employees of the Federal Home Loan Bank-Topeka, may proceed with the federal discrimination lawsuit they filed against the FHLB after it terminated them in 2019, a judge ruled Wednesday. U.S. District Senior Judge Sam Crow denied a motion for summary judgment the FHLB had filed asking that the case be decided in its favor without a trial.
