Australian companies are poised to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, and this recovery will usher a change in consumer behaviour, according to a study. As customer sastisfaction soar, the study recommends companies should adapt to the new normal to deliver different experiences to attract and retain loyal consumers.
Consumer behaviour and expectations are changing in Australia, and businesses should provide new experiences to meet the needs of consumers today, according to a new research by Qualtrics.
The new study conducted by Qualtrics Experience Management (XM) Institute titled 2021 Australian Consumer Trends examined the perspective of 1,000 consumers in Australia. It highlights “how companies will need to revise their business plans to deliver great online, in-person, and hybrid experiences to attract and retain loyal consumers.
Qualtrics adds LinkedIn exec Jason Laufer to lead ANZ

Qualtrics has appointed Jason Laufer as country manager for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Laufer joins from LinkedIn where he was the senior director of talent and learning solutions for the Asia Pacific.
In his new role Laufer will lead the company’s operations which includes 200+ employees, while working closely with Qualtrics’ customers and partners.
Laufer brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles in the software industry, in addition to LinkedIn he has spent time at IBM, and Microsoft; and is recognised as one of Australia’s LGBTI leaders.
