University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Athletics STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP men’s basketball team had five players score in double figures in a 98-65 stomping of UW-River Falls on Wednesday night at Quandt Fieldhouse. Philip Flory led the way with 26 points. Peter Timmerman and Brady Wagner had career highs with 20 & 16 points. Garrett Nelson added 13 and Cliff McCray had 10. The Pointers, now 2-5, will travel to River Falls on Friday.   The UWSP women’s basketball team topped UW-River Falls 84-76 on Wednesday night in River Falls. Taylor Greenheck tied career highs with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Bailee Collins also had a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Jessica Slowik had a career high 13.

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Athletics STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP women’s basketball team scored just three points in the first quarter and lost to UW-Oshkosh 67-40 on Friday night at Quandt Fieldhouse. Taylor Greenheck led the Pointers with nine while freshman Sierra Raine had eight points and five rebounds. The Pointers, now 2-4, will travel to River Falls on Wednesday.   The UWSP men’s basketball team has dropped five in a row after a 86-66 loss at Oshkosh on Friday night. Garrett Nelson had 22 points and Philip Flory had 15 points and seven rebounds. The Pointers, now 1-5, will host River Falls on Wednesday.

Philip Flory led the Pointers with 25 points and six rebounds. Garrett Nelson had 19 and Zach Mootz added 13. The Warhawks shot 73.7 % from 3-pt range in the win. The Pointers, now 1-1, will host UW-Platteville on Wednesday.   Bailee Collins had 13 points and nine rebounds in the loss. The Pointers, now 0-2, will travel to UW-Platteville on Wednesday.   The UWSP men’s hockey team scored twice in a 29 second span and beat UW-Eau Claire 2-1 on Friday night in Eau Claire.
