The 2023 season will go down as one of the best for the Arlee Warriors after an undefeated regular season and a playoff victory. The magical ride, however, ended last Saturday, Nov. 4, after the Warriors fell to Fairview 70-22 in the State Eight-Man Football Quarterfinals.
Finding themselves down 16-8 in the first quarter, the Arlee Warriors dug deep and battled back for a 36-16 State eight-man playoff victory over three-seed Flint Creek on Saturday, Oct. 28, on the Warriors’ home field. Arlee improved to 9-0 on the season and advanced to the State eight-man quarterfinals, where they will host No. 1 East seed Fairview on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m.
After an undefeated regular season, the Arlee Warriors will host their first-round playoff game as a No. 1 seed for the Western eight-man league on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. against the Central league’s No. 3 seed Drummond-Philipsburg.
Coming off their 50-6 victory over Plains the previous week, Arlee wanted to continue the momentum against winless Troy on Friday, Oct. 6, in Western C eight-man football action.
