Children from Fearnbank nursery in Blackburn have been delivering care packages to people in the community Nursery children have gone above and beyond this festive season by putting together care packages and delivering them to vulnerable people in their community. Staff and children at Fernbank Nursery in Blackburn assembled the packages, which included handmade Christmas cards, and gave them out to the elderly as well as a community project that helps refugees and asylum seekers. Deputy manager at the nursery, Rachael Eldridge, said: As a charity nursery ourselves, we decided that we would like to give something as a good will gesture to our local community, as well as to the elderly and vulnerable.
