Golspie volunteer Rosa Cawthorne has been presented with her 100-hour Saltire Award.
Saltire Awards are the Scottish Governmentâs way of celebrating, recognising and rewarding the commitment, contribution and achievements of young volunteers in Scotland.

Twenty-one-year-old Rosa began volunteering at East and Central Sutherland Citizens Advice Bureau (ECSCAB) in Golspie last year after losing her job in the hospitality industry due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: âI wanted something productive to do with my time while I searched for work so I contacted the advice bureau to ask about volunteering.

Research from Citizens Advice reveals more than a third of adults (36 per cent) have been the target of a scam since the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020. There has been a huge surge in people turning to their local CABs for help and advice on scams.
There are many new scams around as a result of Covid-19. We are aware of emails and calls being made to people in Sutherland from scammers pretending to be from NHS Scotland to arrange vaccines, and then asking for bank details to make a payment. You will never be asked for your bank details by NHS Scotland.
