pharma stocks: Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index climbs over 2%; Cadila Healthcare leaps over 7%

NEW DELHI: Nifty Pharma index was trading with gains at 02:01PM (IST) on Friday. Shares of Cadila Healthcare (up 7.45 per cent), Cipla (up 4.39 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 3.96 per cent), Lupin (up 2.56 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 2.42 per cent) were among the top gainers. The Nifty Pharma index was trading 2.33 per cent up at 12906.15 around 02:01PM. Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down -75.95 points at 14797.85, while the BSE Sensex was down -242.59 points at 49503.62. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red. Shares of PNB, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, IDFC First Bank and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

PSU bank stocks: Stock market update: Nifty PSU Bank index gains nearly 2%; Bank of Maharashtra soars 10%

NEW DELHI: Nifty Auto index was trading lower at 01:55PM (IST) on Thursday.
