same today. we re now joined by meteorologist danielle vollmar with a look at our forecast. danielle: this morning waking up to a couple of hit-or-miss showers around the region. most of these not actually point. but there are a couple of showers up through newburyport near cape ann, also back through southern new hampshire. some of these near manchester, keene, are actually making it to the ground. there s more out in western mass. this is all associated with a disturbance that s pushing through right at this point. now it s going to quickly clear out. so as we go through the day, we re going to dry out and actually see breaks of sunshine by the later half of the day. this morning, it is mild though in the upper 40 s in boston. already in the mid 50 s on nantucket. mid 40 s in worcester. so you can see that temperatures are only going to go up as we go through the afternoon. especially with a southwest wind. by lunchtime warming up into the upper 50 s. low 60 s through the a

it s sunday, november 1. danielle vollmar is standing by with our forecast. good morning again, danielle. danielle: good morning. that means that that sunrise is coming up in just about 15-20 minutes. it s an hour earlier than yesterday. i want to show you what s happening. we do have a couple of showers out there this morning to talk about. especially in southern new hampshire if you re traveling up 95 towards portsmouth and all the way up into southern maine back through manchester, traveling up 93 towards concord, greenfield seeing some. once you get into central mass though a lot of these showers point. it may not even be making it to the ground because the air is is so dry. disturbance. it s going to swing in some energy through the morning hours so we will have to leave in a chance for a couple of showers lunchtime. and then temperatures will sunshine. already in the mid 40 s, low 50 s on the vineyard. so we are mild. breaks of sunshine through the afternoon. that will

axelrod: good evening. i m jim axelrod, and this is a western edition of the broadcast. he was public enemy number one, a modern-day al capone in the eyes of law enforcement in chicago. we re talking about a brutal mexican drug lord named joaquin guzman, known as el chapo, or shorty. tonight, he is in a prison in mexico city. captured in a joint u.s. and mexican operation. the feds says guzman ran an international heroin and cocaine empire worth $1 billion. employing thousands of gang members in chicago to deal drugs. as carter evans tells us, his arrest ends a 13-year-long manhunt. reporter: shackled and surrounded, mexican authorities paraded the world s most notorious drug lord before news cameras. joaquin el chapo guzman was captured in a dramatic covert operation, led by the mexican navy early this morning, in the resort town of mazatlan. we arrested him without firing a single shot, says mexico s attorney general. guzman is known as el chapo or shorty because
