Image Source: IANS News Hyderabad, May 14 : The Andhra Pradesh CID booked disgruntled YSRCP MP from the Narsapur Lok Sabha constituency, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju, on Friday, and filed cases under Sections 124A, 153A, and 505 of the IPC against him. Official sources said that through his speeches, Raju was reportedly indulging in a systematic and schematic effort to cause tensions among the communities, besides attacking various government dignitaries in a way that could cause loss of faith in the government which they represent. In the backdrop of all these things, a case was registered on the orders of P.V. Sunil Kumar (IPS), ADG, CID, the sources said.

MP Raghurama Krishna Raju Arrested By AP CID Published by GulteDesk May 14, 2021 Narsapur MP Kanumuru Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, who is popularly known as RRR, has been arrested by AP CID officials in Hyderabad today. Amidst a high drama as Raju protested, AP CID officials took him into custody. Earlier, AP CID sleuths, who arrived in Hyderabad, reached Raju’s residence in the city and served him the notices before arresting him. Raju has been charged with abusing CM Jaganmohan Reddy and the state government. The CRPF security of Raghurama Krishna Raju provided by the Centre had tried to provide security to the MP during the arrest. However, CID officials have got due clearances from the top officials of the CRPF following which the CRPF security make way for the CID officials to do their duty.

Raghu Ramakrishna Raju for “violating the party discipline and making wild allegations against party president and Chef Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.” Addressing the media here on Wednesday, Mr. Suresh alleged that Mr. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju had violated party discipline and, as per the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution, stern action should be taken against him for avoiding such instances in the future. Mr. Suresh said that the party would suspend Mr. Raju in case the Speaker failed to take action.
