The China-Europe Railway Express continues to show strong momentum in facilitating cross-border trade this year, according to the latest figures from China's railway operator.
Since the test trains that ran in 2019 between Bettembourg and Chengdu, which were supposed to put Luxembourg on the "New Silk Road", no other trains have run on this line. Citing a lack of demand for that line, the national railway network (CFL) is now concentrating its efforts on the connection between Bettembourg and Poznan.
