Public comments being taken for Powerline Trail project in Greenfield

Now s your chance. A virtual public involvement meeting is taking place through May 20 to provide people with a chance to comment about the project that will put a paved, multi-use recreational trail through the heart of Greenfield. The first phase of the project, scheduled to be constructed in summer 2022, will connect to the Oak Leaf Trail at West Cold Spring Road and stretch east 3 miles to 60th Street. The input session is being held virtually due to the pandemic, said Greenfield City Engineer Jeff Katz.  He said project organizers will take feedback into consideration and respond to questions.
