The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested 11 people as they were allegedly in the process of stealing 5 tonnes of scrap from Kurla Carshed earlier this week. Six of those arrested were labourers who were enlisted by the main accused, Abdul Rehman Abdul Kaddus Khan, 32, a resident of Sakinaka, sources said. The others were identified as Parvez Anwar Ali Khan (28); Abdul Masjid Allauddin Mohammed (45); Ruhul Amin Saibur Rahman (23); Mojahidul Saabji Mojabul Haq (21); Tafazul Rahman (31); Jaidur Rahman Sakander (22); Ramesh Sahabdin Bharti (35); Zahid Ali Abdul Mutlib Khan (34); Mohammad Saif Shakeel Khan (32); and Suleman Mehruddin Khan (30). They helped the main accused, Kaddus Khan, load the scrap into a truck.
