Rajasthan: Over 600 children test positive for COVID-19 in Dungarpur, Dausa districts
Amid India s relentless battle with a devastating wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, reports of children testing positive for the novel coronavirus have emerged from Rajasthan. As many as 325 children have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Rajasthan s Dungarpur in the past few days. A similar situation has been witnessed in the Dausa district of the state. All children, to have tested positive for coronavirus, are under the age of 19 years. So far, more than 600 children have tested positive for COVID-19 from both the districts of Rajasthan.

Under Jan Anushasan Pakhwada, only shops and offices providing essential services will be open during the 15-day period. The sale of fruits and vegetables will be allowed till 7 pm. Vendors will be allowed to distribute newspapers from 4 am to 8 am
The Rajasthan government has ordered a stricter lockdown for two weeks, until May 3 in a bid to contain the further spread of coronavirus. The decision came following multiple rounds of COVID review meetings chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over the weekend.
Covid-19 cases are rapidly increasing due to negligence of people, Rajasthan health minister Raghu Sharma (left) said.
JAIPUR: Rajasthan health minister Raghu Sharma on Monday said that the possibility of getting infected with Covid-19 even after vaccination cannot be ruled out and those who got vaccinated should not give up wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
He said that testing facilities for Covid-19 will soon be increased to one lakh per day from the existing 70,000 in the state.
Covid-19 cases are rapidly increasing due to negligence of people. The number of those infected with Covid-19 across the state in February was only 60, today the number has crossed 1,700, Sharma said
