As COVID 19 crisis grows critical in the country, Kannada actor Arjun Gowda has turned into an ambulance driver for those who are facing the brunt of the pandemic. The actor, who is known for films such as Rustum , Aa Drushya , Odeya and others, has started an initiative called Project Smile Trust with the aim to reach out to people who need assistance and ambulance service for transferring patients from the hospital or during their last rites.

In an interview with The Times of India, Arjun was quoted as saying: I ve been on the road for a couple of days and I ve already helped out around half a dozen people with assistance for final rites. We want to ensure that we help out anyone in need irrespective of where they come from or what religion they practice. I m also ready to travel across town for help.

Bollywood actor donates Dh4,95,708.26 to Mumbai civic body after setting up an oxygen centre in Dharavi
Actor Ajay Devgn, who earlier took the lead to set up an oxygen centre at Covid-19-hit Dharavi, one of the largest slums in Asia, in Mumbai has again generously donated Dh4,95,708.26 to set up a high-dependency unit (HDU) facility.
The HDU has been set up at an air-conditioned (AC) wedding banquet hall at Shivaji Park in central Mumbai in collaboration with PD Hinduja Hospital at Mahim.

Filmmaker and actor Ajay Devgn has been working quietly with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide emergency medical facilities for Mumbaikars affected by COVID-19. The actor has joined hands with BMC and Hinduja Hospital to set up ICU (Intensive Care Units). As BMC commissioners, corporators and others frontline workers are working tirelessly on ground zero, round the clock to monitor the emergency services, Devgn, too, is working in close tandem by doing his bit. This time around, the Tanhaji actor and a few of his esteemed colleagues from the film fraternity have stepped ahead and helped the BMC to set up an emergency medical unit at Mumbai s Shivaji Park.

As the country battles against the second wave of COVID-19, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has converted the State Bharat Scouts and Guides Halls in Shivaji Park to a 20-bed, COVID-19 facility with ventilators, oxygen support and para monitors.
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, along with a few colleagues of the film fraternity pitched in with help for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to set up the emergency medical unit at Shivaji Park in the city of Mumbai.
