In Gujarat, six people, including a woman and a teenager, have died of heart attacks while performing the traditional dance garba during Navratri celebrations. In addition to these deaths, 22 others have died of heart attacks in the state during this period. The state health minister has held a meeting with heart specialists and directed them to conduct research to determine the cause of these deaths. The governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, has expressed concern over the rising number of heart attacks during garba and called for a study to investigate the reasons behind it.
