KATHAMNDU, Feb 22: A man committed suicide after killing his wife, daughter and granddaughter in Swayambhu, Nagarjun Municipality-6, Kathmandu, on Wednesday. According to the police, Raju Ghimire (Kaji BK), 37, who hails from Dudh Kunda Municipality-10 of Solukhumbu and was living in Swayambhu Bhairab Tole killed his wife Ishwari Shrestha (Premkumari Shrestha), 38, eight-year-old daughter Anisha Shrestha and two-and-a-half-year-old granddaughter Shivani Shrestha.
KATHMANDU, Feb 21: The police have suspected that the three people found dead in Swayambhu were murdered. A team of District Police Range, Kathmandu and Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has been deployed at Nagarjun Municipality-6 Swayambhu incident site.

KATHMANDU, April 13: Cases of sexual violence against male street children has increased in the country. According to data with the Women, Children and Senior Citizen Service Directorate under Nepal Police, as many as 90 street male children fell victim of sexual violence in the fiscal year, 2020/21 against 93 in the FY, 2021/22.
