Comedian-actor Raju Srivastava, who has been in the intensive care unit for nine days following a heart attack, continues to be on the ventilator and is critical, sources at Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences or AIIMS said today.
Raju Srivastava suffered a heart attack on August 10 while working out on the treadmill. He is undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi and his condition is critical. His health suddenly deteriorated last night (August 17) after swelling in his brain. It is being said that the doctors have lost hope. But, Raju's family are still hopeful about his recovery and called him a fighter. He was working out on the treadmill when he experienced chest pain and collapsed. He was brought to AIIMS Delhi by his trainer and was given CPR twice to resuscitate his heart.
