Taking a stern view on the bad condition of roads across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), the Bombay High Court (HC) directed commissioners of six municipal corporations to file a detailed reply stating the steps taken by them on the HC s 2018 judgement. The bench also issued directions to conduct a joint inspection of manholes in all wards of BrihanMumbai Municipal Corp (BMC) by ward officers accompanied by the court-appointed commissioners (lawyers).
