Jammu, November 13(Scoop News)- Hindi Sahitya Mandal (HSM), Jammu today organized a function at K L Saigal Auditorium Hall, Writers Club, Cultural Academy, Jammu to honour cultural critic- journalist, painter- cum- writer- Jang S. Verman and famous Ghazalkar- poet- Singer- composer Sham Sajan with the Ramesh Mehta Memorial Award- 2022, the second edition of the award established and implemented jointly by the family of Late Sh. Ramesh Mehta, and Hindi Sahitya Mandal in the memory of late Ramesh Mehta, writer- Eeditor- former Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. Dr. Adarsh, a well known Hindi writer presided over the function. Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages was the chief guest on this occasion. Smt. 9 officers transferred

JAMMU, Dec 24: Commissioner Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department Sarita Chauhan has ordered transfer and postings of 9 officers with immediate effect.
According to the order, Neelu Gera, Director Environment, Ecology and Remote Sensing J&K will hold the additional charge of Director Social Forestry J&K, while Asaf Mahmood, Director Forest Protection Force J&K holding additional charge of Director SFRI has been transferred and posted as Director State Forest Research Institute and J Frankoi, APCCF, Eco Tourism/Wildlife Protection Department has been transferred and posted as Director Forest Protection Force J&K. The charge of CCF Eco Tourism will be held by Suresh Gupta, Chief Wildlife Warden J&K in addition to his own duties.
