"The prime minister is expected to reach Ayodhya airport somewhere around 10:45 am. After landing at the airport, he will move straight to Ayodhya railway station where he will inaugurate the redeveloped railway station. He will then return to the airport, inaugurate the newly-built airport and subsequently address a jan sabha (public rally)," Dayal told PTI.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inspected the arrangements at the airport and the railway station along with checking the 8-kilometre long road between airport and railway station where the PM will hold a roadshow.

Ayodhya is prepared for Prime Minister Narendra Modis visit on December 30, marked by elaborate decorations, thematic ornamental columns, and enhanced security. Modi will inaugurate the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station and a new airport, addressing a public rally near the airport. The visit is expected to draw around 1.5 lakh people.

On Thursday, strings of orange and yellow marigolds were being wrapped around ornamental lamp posts installed on the median of a redeveloped road stretch, now christened Ram Path.

As part of the redevelopment carried out in Ayodhya on the last two years or so, this road was widened on both sides and many structures were partially demolished from the front side for the purpose. Many old buildings are also located on this stretch, and had an ornamental facade.
