RANCHI: In order to improve the rate of vaccination, the Ranchi district administration has decided to summon the officials of private hospitals that have reported below average vaccination coverage among their health workers.
Ranchi DC Chhavi Ranjan has directed ADM (law and order) Lokesh Mishra to conduct a meeting with authorities of private hospitals in this regard.
Talking to TOI, Mishra said: “We have contacted all private hospitals that have reported less than average vaccination coverage. We will enquire about the reasons below the poor turnout.”
Mishra further said, “There are many beneficiaries who cannot take the vaccine owing to a range of reasons. Some may have adverse allergy history, whereas a few may also be pregnant. We have asked their respective establishments to furnish those details so that the same can be updated on the portal.
