Mahila cops get training on ways to probe women, children-related crimes. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has started training a batch of 150 policewomen on how to investigate crimes involving children and women.

The sewage and drainage project in Ranchi, which was approved in 2014 and was scheduled to be over in 2017, has been getting delayed due to non-availability of a no objection certificates (NOC) from the road construction department and National Highways Authority of India. Once completed, these pipelines will facilitate the connection of household wastewater to the sewer line, enhancing sanitation in the region.

An initiative is underway to construct kitchen sheds and verandahs in 400 govt schools across Ranchi district. The project aims to complete the work in six months. The school education and literacy department is involved in the renovation and building of kitchen sheds in 2,600 schools across 13 districts. This effort is part of the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana.
